The Clan opens office in Singapore led by Yasser Ismail as strategic chief and managing director

Yasser Ismail.jpgThe newly rebranded independent agency The Clan is officially opening its doors in Singapore to coincide with the country’s 52nd National Day. Led by Yasser Ismail, ex-Planning Director of We Are Social Singapore, The Clan Singapore will have a wider talent pool through its Malaysian counterpart, The Clan Malaysia.

Ismail (pictured) brings with him more than 9 years of experience and has served clients across different sectors in different capacities. Some of the clients include KFC, Canon, MasterCard, Intel, Epson, and 20th Century Fox. He was also integral in building the current Planning team at We Are Social.

“Yasser is a great addition as we strengthen our strategic planning capabilities across the board. His experience is pivotal in bridging consumers to our client’s brands. We’re looking forward to cracking some great briefs together with Yasser,” said Syed Nasir, Business Chief of The Clan.

Yasser will be leading The Clan Singapore in a dual capacity as both Strategic Chief and Managing Director.

The Clan Singapore will be working closely with its Malaysian counterparts on some of its regional clients. Together with the partners and clanmates in Malaysia, the team is currently building a proprietary strategic thinking tool that will be enabled digitally and accessible for clients in the coming months.
