McCann Erickson Mumbai has created a new press campaign for Chlormint, a breath freshener brand of Parfetti Van Melle. The series of three ads feature garlic, fish and cigars in camouflage to demonstrate how the breath freshener can hide foul odors.

Big photo, no headline, small pack shot. AdFest judges will give it gold for certain.
A headline might help an otherwise camouflaged idea.
Very nice
You know when the story explains the idea, it’s never really gonna work, is it….
Good work Prasoon.
Should do well this year.
S
clean, simple, and clearly produced for the judges who will turn it down for the lack of insight. mccann india could learn a thing or two from JWT or LB india.
That’s a bit over the top 12.57.
This is just a print campaign and not designed to be a titanium entry. It’s good work with good production values.
And anyone who dares to call it a scam should heed these wise words from Farrokh Madon, a truly insightful dude who calls the shots at McCann Singapore:
“On the subject of scam advertising in Asia Pacific, Madon said: “Enough has been said on this subject over the last decade to fill books of encyclopedic girth. Let’s give it a rest. In this dark economic climate, we must all look to creativity to dispel the dark clouds on the horizon.”
You doth protest too much 10.59. But seeing as you mentioned the ‘s’ word, if it looks like a SCAM and smells like a scam then I’m thinking it probably is a scam. And this little effort has all the hallmarks. No self respecting marketer would pay real money for this. Unless you can prove otherwise. All I can say to guru Farrokh is, you’re part of the problem if you don’t try to rid the place of this rubbish. Refer John Hegarty, who knows a thing or two.
Hahahaha…this guy sure knows how to duck! Then again, why ask him, better to ask John Hegarty who practices and actually enforces a no scam policy.
