beach.jpgIn a mission to engage 5% of Hong Kong people to clean up litter and turn awareness into action, Hong Kong Cleanup has partnered with Ogilvy & Mather to launch a campaign to ask the people of Hong Kong to participate in the 15th annual clean up challenge.

According to leading global social scientists, by mobilising 5% of Hong Kong’s population in actively reducing the amount of trash they generate and taking a role in cleaning up the city, we would create a paradigm shift with long-lasting behavioral change, getting us closer to a cleaner, greener city.

The campaign features a three-part print and outdoor campaign across the city, which shows little humans as ants carrying a plastic bottle, a cigarette butt and an empty chocolate wrapper. The posters are designed to encourage Hongkongers to work together to clean up litter and make the city an environmentally friendly place.

The challenge runs from 1 September untill 1 December 2015, and people can sign up today.
