Geometry makes three new additions to its APAC Regional Team

Geometry strengthens its APAC Regional Team with Andreas Moellmann, Jane Perry and Jorge Thauby all moving up.

Andreas Moellmann, former Chief Strategy Officer/Head of Digital of Geometry Japan, is promoted to Regional CXO (Chief Experience Officer). He joined Geometry in January 2018 and has successfully innovated the agency’s offering and client solutions alike. In his new role, his focus will be on pushing the boundaries of brand experiences.

Moellmann (pictured left) said, “I’m humbled and very excited about this extended role and the trust Geometry is putting into me. People want to enjoy experiences, not just buy a product. Designing experiences that stretch across the entire online and offline customer journey and influence people’s behavior is an intellectual, cultural and processual challenge. Geometry’s background in brand activation and its resulting focus on the customer is the critical ingredient for getting it right.”

In addition, two senior leaders from Geometry Singapore will drive the agency’s global client initiative across the region: Jane Perry, Managing Director (pictured centre), and Jorge Thauby, Executive Creative Director (pictured right). While they both keep the current role locally in Singapore, Perry has been promoted to Global Client Lead APAC and Jorge to Global Clients, ECD APAC. The Singapore duo has an outstanding track record of winning new business and is now tasked to leverage on the Singapore team’s success to break new ground for the APAC region.

“In our new roles, Jorge and myself will be supporting Geometry leads across the region on growing our global clients, whilst maintaining responsibility for the overall health of the Singapore agency. To take a Singapore MD and ECD and put them onto a regional growth team is indicative of the focus and drive our CEO has for the region. It’s an exciting time for Geometry as we work to redefine brand experience. Building on the great success we have had out of Singapore, I’m excited to drive our clients’ agenda for and on behalf of Geometry and WPP across APAC”, said Perry.

Diana Cawley, Geometry’s APAC CEO, said, “It’s all about collaboration and teamwork across the region. Our strength lies in shaping the best brand experiences through which we can influence people’s behavior, and we will allocate the best expertise to deliver the best client service.

Moellmann gave profound strategic and digital impact at Geometry Japan in a very short time. As we are in the midst of our own transformation in APAC, we need to utilize his capabilities across the region. He will add momentum to the progress we are already making.

“I am also excited that Jane and Jorge, with their strong strategic and creative thinking, are officially tasked to support other markets and will immensely help us to expand our client portfolio across APAC. Their proven record of winning new business and collaborating with other WPP agencies is a valuable asset to us. Singapore’s expertise will help other markets to grow and succeed.”
