Sweetshop Shanghai’s Simon Cracknell directs new 3 Minute Miracle commercial for Pantene and Marvel
Shanghai Sweetshop Director Simon Cracknell is behind a new commercial via Grey Hong Kong for Pantene and Marvel, who have partnered to launch ‘3 Minute Miracle’.
Shot in Shanghai, the heroine of the film begins her journey looking into her closet… an ordinary start to a seemingly ordinary day… or is it? In this richly monochromatic scene, a spark of energy bursts from her hair, which suddenly becomes drenched in colour. Her surprise and delight quickly turn into confidence, and as the colour spreads, she transforms into a real-life Superhero.
As she ventures out, it becomes clear that this Superhero literally has the power to change the world she lives in – to bring brightness, vibrancy and happiness back into the dull, grey city. The streets and people that she passes are all re-energized with colour.
Gorgeous close-ups of our heroine showcase her vibrant, soft and shiny hair, which radiates on camera.
Cracknell said, “Overflowing with power, colour and fun, this script really blew me away. It allowed us to build epic amounts of visual delight and mesmerising moments of hair magic. I love how our Superhero has the ability to bring joy and colour not only into her own life but into the lives of everyone she meets.”
