Clio Awards + Budweiser launch new specialty competition for emerging creatives aged 21-29

In partnership with Budweiser, Clio is calling for submissions from talent, aged 21-29, that will deliver creative solutions for the surplus electricity produced by Budweiser’s Wind Farm at Thunder Ranch in Billings, Oklahoma.

This challenge will prompt entrants to create a campaign that will identify and effectively communicate where and how Budweiser could best apply its surplus electricity.

The campaign selected by the Clio Brand Jury will be awarded on stage at the 60th annual Clio Awards ceremony and the winner will have the chance to work with Budweiser to bring their idea to life.

Entries may consist of one or more executions of Audio, Branded Entertainment, Branded Content, Design, Digital/ Mobile, Direct, Experiential/Events, Film, Innovation, Out of Home, Partnerships & Collaborations, Print, Public Relations or Social Media elements.

Says Nicole Purcell, president, Clio: “At the core of our mission, we aim to recognize and celebrate the emerging talent that will lead our industry forward and create the boundary pushing work that inspires future generations.

“We admire Budweiser’s commitment to investing in renewable electricity and we’re thrilled to be giving creative talent a platform for determining how to harness that power.”

Says Ricardo Marques, vice president, marketing, core and value brands, Anheuser-Busch: “By giving people a glimpse into our commitment to renewable electricity, we’re able to authentically connect with consumers on the issues that are important to all of us.

“We’re so excited to hear from emerging creatives on how we can best utilize and communicate our sustainability initiative to inspire others in our pursuit for a more sustainable future.”

Entries are now open for eligible creatives at here.
