Emily Bull’s Cannes Diary #3

Emily Bull (far right), co-founder and managing director at Hellofuture.TV is representing Australia on the Cannes Entertainment Lions jury. Bull, along with most of the other Australian and NZ jurors writes exclusively for CB.

We started the day with the VR category … such a fun and slightly nauseating way to start the day. There’s been a real development in story within the VR category this year which is fantastic to see!

After an hour “playing” with VR it was onto branded entertainment in gaming, then sport, then innovation, and talent partnerships! So much work!

Already some interesting conversations brewing on the definition of innovation… (God I love a good indulgent (wanky) discussion!)

With all the judging complete we eventually emerged into the sunshine (luckily it’s light till 8ish) and had some team wines and pizza. Such an awesome bunch of people.
