AdStars 2019 Festival kicks off with 40 jurors gathering for day one of judging in Busan, South Korea

The judging of the annual AdStars Awards began today with a combined jury of 40 creative directors from all over the world gathering in Busan, South Korea to decide this year’s winners.

From 20,645 entries, a total of 1,652 entries have been shortlisted by 220 preliminary judges around the world.

The 40 final Judges commenced judging today with the two Grand Prix of the Year winners to receive US$10,000 apiece.

There are 5 juries at AdStars with Robin Fitzgerald, Chief Creative Officer at BBDO Atlanta leading the Film and Video categories. Design and Print is lead by Melvin Mangada, Chief Creative Officer TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno Philippines, Jureeporn Thaidumrong, Chief Creative Officer GREYnJ United Thailand, heads the Diverse Insight, Outdoor, PSA, Place Brand, Radio & Audio jury. The Interactive, Integrated, Innovation, Mobile, Data Insight, Social & Influencer jury is lead by Joanna Monteiro, Chief Creative Officer FCB Brasil. And Ted Lim Regional, Chief Creative Officer Dentsu Asia Pacific, is president of the Direct, Media, Promotion, PR jury.

All winners will be announced at the 2019 Ad Stars Awards gala dinner at BEXCO’s Grand Ballroom on 24th August.
