Song Zu promotes Donny Pereira to partner; Composer Adrian Sergovich relocates to Singapore + Ian Lew to relocate back to Sydney

The cream of Singapore’s advertising industry turned up to Butcher Boy on Keong Saik Road on Thursday night to celebrate Song Zu Singapore’s Executive Producer, Donny Pereira, becoming a partner in the Song Zu group.

Says Song Zu’s Managing Director, Ian Lew: “Donny has been an integral part of Song Zu Singapore for over a decade now and he really has become the face of the studio here, respected by clients and staff alike. It was really only a matter of time before we invited him to join the partnership and we are delighted he has accepted.”

The night was also a chance for the Singapore industry to meet Song Zu Singapore’s newest composer arrival, Adrian Sergovich, who has relocated to Singapore after 6 years at Song Zu Sydney. His tracks are currently featured on the latest Singapore Airlines ‘Making Every Journey Personal’ spot as well as two of the recent Standard Chartered Bank ‘Here For Good’ commercials. His music has also appeared on Sesame Street and two recent Academy Award nominated short films.

The industry also got to meet Song Zu Singapore’s brand new Production Assistant, Sheryl Lim.

Finally it was also a chance do say Au Revoir (not Goodbye!) to Ian Lew as he relocates back to Song Zu Sydney.

Says Lew “I came for 2 years and accidentally stayed for 8 and a half. I have loved working in the industry up here and I am still going to be 100% involved in Song Zu Singapore and will be back and forth regularly”

Although Lindsay Jehan is now safely ensconced in Amsterdam he is still fully available to compose and creatively direct projects via Song Zu Singapore and his presence was very much felt at the celebration.
