Great work, beautiful craft. Congratulations to the writer and art director. And to the rest of the team that made this possible.
Folks,
I am pretty sure there are English teachers in Bengaluru, so get one to explain why your English is so atrocious.
For example:
“This plastic diet has reached an almost feeding frenzy that it has driven the species to the brink of extinction” is not English.
Get a competent English teacher to vet your copy before those deadlines, wink wink.
I was drawn in by the art direction, then the marvellous copy. Well done to all!!
Presumably this was created for the awards cos let’s be honest, no one cares about turtles in an ad agency unless it leads to silverware. Well, it’s not picking up any with that English. @gramma is right, this is shockingly bad. Ross and Paul, are you guys blind?
Maybe it can swing an award for art direction, for ads that look like they were created in 1980, wait, what, no such category? Oh!
Perhaps we can give the strategists an award for the sumptuous piece of planning that helped the creatives come up with this. Or maybe the suits, for convincing the client to sign off on a scam ad. Yes, awards to everyone involved. Including the President, South, assuming he okayed the money to be spent on such drivel. Splendid work all you wonderful advertising people. Long live this wonderful industry.
