United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Strategy Hub selects BBDO Malaysia Covid-19 Response hand washing concept

“Wash”, a vertical film created by BBDO Malaysia in collaboration with Real Time Studio has been selected by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Strategy Hub team as an official content to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

It was shortlisted from the United Nations Global Call Out to Creatives out of over 17,000 submissions from 143 countries. It was amongst the 4465 pieces of work to be included into the official United Nations COVID-19 Response Creative Content Hub.

In the film, the creatives at BBDO Malaysia turned the simple act of hand washing into a celebration of humanity.

It took just 4 days and several Google Hangouts to pull off this film, which saw their creative talents shooting the scenes with mobile phones at their own homes, while the composers at Realtime Studios worked tirelessly around the clock to bring the film to life with an original score out of goodwill.

“While the negativities related to the current pandemic can be washed away, humanity on the other hand will never go down the drain. In fact, the good in each of us is shining through more than ever,” says Donevan Chew, ECD of BBDO Malaysia.
