BBH Singapore’s Grace Wong and Audrey Chia named runner-up at Young Glory 2019/20 World Champions

Creative team Grace Wong and Audrey Chia from Bartle Bogle Hegarty Singapore have been named in overall second place at the Young Glory 2019-2020 World Champions competition.

 

Ogilvy Sydney’s Lucas Fowler and Jack Burton were announced the winners and they were accompanied in the Student Category by Kyiv, Ukraine based Roman Gurbanov and Ilya Pochkun of the MADS advertising school.

Young Glory aims to unearth the most adaptable emerging creative talent, by issuing 8, briefs, from 8 different judges, over 8 months, with teams awarded points each round for the quality of their ideas.

Says Brendan Graham, co-founder, Young Glory: “We tried to reflect the diverse creative landscape now on offer to clients and creative talent in our mix of judges selected for the 2019/20 Season.”

Judges during the season came from agencies like VMLY&R New York, Taxi and Rethink; as well as tech firms like Google and Spotify; publishers like Sneaker Freaker; gaming studios like Australian success story SMG; and even Santiago, Chile based innovation consultancy Inbrax.

The winners podium also reflected a diverse cohort, with the teams making up the rest of the top 3 of each category coming also from Brazil, Singapore, New Zealand and Denmark and from agency groups such as BBH, DDB, FCB, Marcel and TBWA.

The end of season announcement comes at the same time as the release of the Round 8 results. Young glory will kick-off its 2020/21 Season on September 1st, 2020.
