Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne, Dentsu Tokyo + Wunderman Thompson Thailand score multiple Grand Prix awards at Spikes Asia 2021
Australia has taken the most Grands Prix with eight at this year’s Spikes Asia awards. The Grand Prix awards were announced this morning with Japan scoring four top awards followed by Thailand with three. India and New Zealand have two Grand Prix wins each and Malaysia and the USA picked up one each.
Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne picked up the most Grand Prix awards with four followed by Dentsu Tokyo with three and Wunderman Thompson Thailand with two.
Single Grand Prix winners from Asia were Directors Think Tank/Ensemble Malaysia; Wolf Bangkok; DDB Mudra Mumbai; FCB Ulka India; and ADK Tokyo.
Piyush Pandey, Chief Creative Officer, Worldwide & Executive Chairman, Ogilvy, India, and Jury President of this year’s Film, Print & Publishing and Radio & Audio juries said: “Good work stands out in good times and bad. I am glad that the jury had enough work to choose from, despite the difficulties that the world faced in 2020. Congratulations to all the worthy winners.”
Philip Thomas, Chairman, Spikes Asia, said: “It’s been fantastic to see such a breadth of work awarded across this creatively diverse region, and the release of The Spikes Asia Creativity Report means that we can now really start to analyse and interrogate the work to understand APACs industry landscape. Well done to all the winners – they have played their part in setting the benchmark in creative excellence.”
