LongXi Awards announces 2010 Judges
The LongXi Awards (dedicated to promoting Chinese language advertising creative ideas around the world) has announced its 2010 awards judging panel with Mr Yang Yeo, Chief Creative Officer, JWT Shanghai as Judging President, working with judges Natalie Lam from OgvilyOne Shanghai, Alfred Wong from Leo Burnett Hong Kong, Jody Xiong from DDB Shanghai, Arthur Louis Tsang from BBDO Guangzhou, Jacqueline Ye from Publicis Shanghai, Endy Fung from Razor Fish Hong Kong, Hei Yiyang from SenseTeam Shenzheng and Mark Chang from Dentsu Taiwan.
So far entries have been received from every Chinese speaking market including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur.
Currently, the jury is doing the first round judging separately at their home base.They will meet in the ancient city Pingyao in third week of September to do the final round of judging.
LongXi Awards is held in different cities every year since it was founded in 1998, which was the year of Tiger and 2010 being year of the Tiger makes it an auspicious occasion, for LongXi. Hence the ancient city Pingyao, symbol of Chinese traditional culture, has been selected for the judging location. The final round judging will start from 23 to 27 September 2010, coinciding with the traditional Moon Festival. All these favorable conditions form a perfect timing, geographical convenience and harmonious human relations. At that time, the jury will select out the best creative works of the year and the final result of 2010 LongXi International Chinese Language Advertising Awards will be revealed online in first week of October.
