DDB Singapore makes senior creative promotions and hires to service growing business
In the light of a stellar year of growth from existing businesses and several new business wins, and wins at major award shows, DDB Singapore has made significant senior promotions and hires.
Thomas Yang (currently Associate Creative Director) has been promoted to Creative Director, Francis Tan (Head of Art) to Head of Film & Content, Francis Ooi, Joel Chin and Khalid Osman (currently Creative Group Heads) to Associate Creative Directors and Lester Lee (Copy Writer) to Senior Writer. The agency has also hired Andrew Hook, Batey’s former ECD, as Creative Director. He will report directly to DDB & RAPP Singapore’s ECD, Joji Jacob.
“As an agency, we are getting bigger, better and busier than ever. We’re doing a wide range of work in an equally wide range of media for all our clients. The creative department is bursting at the seams with young teams. And we need talented, competent and resilient creative leaders to manage our businesses and teams.
With our next rung of creative leaders stepping up, I’m really excited for the future of DDB Group Singapore. Our plan is to have an unfair share of talent helping our clients build their businesses,” Joji Jacob, Executive Creative Director, DDB & RAPP, Singapore.
This comes on the back of a great year for DDB at all the major award shows. It was Singapore’s most awarded agency at Cannes, AdFest, Spikes and the Creative Circle Awards where it was also Agency of the Year.

Strong growth for the agency and improving creative output.
