Eddie Wong takes up the national executive creative director reigns at Draftfcb China

Eddie Wong.jpgEddie Wong has joined Draftfcb in China as national executive creative director.  Wong, who joined at the start of December, is looking to improve creative standards across the board.

Wong has been in the ad industry for more than 25 years, working in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China for respected agencies such as Batey, Leo Burnett, D’Arcy, Euro RSCG and most recently TBWA\China where he was group executive creative director.  His extensive portfolio includes Coke, Adidas, Pernod Ricard, Mars Confectionery/Petfood, Standard Chartered Bank, and McDonald’s, among others. In 2005, Wong was number 1 in China’s in the Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings.  He has won at award shows such as One Show, Clios, D&AD, Cannes, NYADC, Spikes and Adfest.  He has also judged at major International and Regional Award  shows, which include CLIOs, London International Advertising Awards, New York Festivals, Asia Pacific Advertising Festival, Long Xi International Chinese Advertising Awards, China 4A Golden Seal Awards, China National Advertising Festival.
