Toh Han Ming promoted to CD and Marcus Rebeschini takes on Creative Chairman additional role for Y&R Singapore
Y&R Singapore has promoted Toh Han Ming to Creative Director. Highly awarded and widely respected, Han Ming has been with Y&R for 11 years, most recently as Associate Creative Director chiefly working on the Republic of Singapore Navy, Bank of Singapore and the creative lead on new businesses.
He will work side by side with Regional Chief Creative Officer Marcus Rebeschini who, with the departure of James Procter announced today, takes on the additional role of Creative Chairman for Singapore, overseeing all creative work for the agency as well as managing the creative team.
Outgoing Creative Director Mark Fong, who has worked with Han Ming on many campaigns while at Y&R said, “Han Ming is one of those rare individuals whose head for strategy and passion for creativity have made him a highly awarded creative leader who is just as highly regarded by senior clients. In the last few years, Han Ming has played a critical role in the winning of many new businesses and managing their creative output with ‘grown up’ creative solutions. I couldn’t be happier for him as this promotion is truly well deserved.”
Fong announced he was leaving the agency in April this year after six years at the agency. It is the end of Fong’s fourth stay at Y&R Singapore.
Marcus Rebeschini said, “I like to work with talented yet humble people and Han Ming as many know is highly regarded as such a person. He has constantly performed to a high standard, on any creative challenge given, so I couldn’t think of a worthier person for the role.”
Y&R Singapore will announce further creative hires in the coming weeks.

Tired of all the spin that’s coming out of here of late…they must think there’s no such thing as word of mouth. There’s only one ECD there….a suit with a thinks he’s God, and jerry seinfeld all rolled into one.
Congrats and condolences to Han Ming.
Kudos to Mark, Pat and Tanuj for keeping Y&R respectable for well over a decade. You will be missed.
A cautionary tale of “regional management” indeed.
Whoa. Look at that angel in the clouds. He’s probably the most handsome CD in town now. So yummy!
All natural hair. And no photoshopping or massive DI..
Girls, get ready to show him your books.
Could somebody please email me Mark’s contact?
Thanks!
A.
