TBWA duo to represent Vietnam at Young Lions

The TBWA\Vietnam creative team of Nhung Nguyen and Minh Le, copy and art respectively, were named the winners of the 2012 Vietnam Young Lions Competition in the film category. The competition is sponsored by Sun Flower Media.

The announcement was made Friday night at a gala dinner and awards ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City. Winners for the print and media categories were also announced. The Young Lions competition was held November 12 to 13.

“It is truly an honour for Minh and I to be selected to represent our country as Young Lions,” said Nhung Nguyen, Copywriter at TBWA\Vietnam.

“We’re extremely proud of Minh and Nhung. They’ve worked very hard for this. We’re excited they’ll be representing our office, the network and their country at Cannes next year,” said Patrick Tom, Executive Creative Director at TBWA\Vietnam.

The team will go on to compete in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Young Lions competition held June 17 to 23, 2012.
