Francis Wee hasn’t done any good work in like 20 years.
Why is he on this squad?
…surprise. Now the big Q. of whether Cannes will pacify Mr Amir with the same role at 2013 Cannes fest, or whether this’ll be enuff.
Francis Wee did make the world reknown ad for Burger King in recent years that blows you away, remember?
Oh right, the sexist dick joke ad.
Of course he did.
He’s experienced enough to judge a show and has done so many times. Plus, Francis after judging can claim that 29 jurors told him personally that they were briefed to kill Ogilvy. Then he provides no proof, threatens boycott, gets on plane, and gets to be jury president next year.
Is that Gru from Despicable Me?

No, but really. How is Francis Wee relevant to an award show in 2012?
Why just pick on Wee? There’s half a dozen others on that list that are a joke as well.
We should stop talking about Francis Wee and focus on the real issue: Gru from Despicable Me, or Dr Evil from Austin Powers?
