McCann Worldgroup India strengthen digital offering with two senior appointments
Abhishek Das has returned to McCann Worldgroup India joining as creative director – digital at McCann Mumbai.
Das (pictured left), who has over ten years of experience, started his career with Ab&m Communications New Delhi before progressing to Oxygen, Tribal DDB and McCann New Delhi, working on a wide variety of accounts including TimesJobs, SimplyMarry, magicBricks, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Volvo, Nescafe, Kitkat, ESPN Star, MTV, and UNESCO.
Commenting on his appointment, Das said: “This marks my second stint at McCann and I’m delighted to be back. In the five years since I was last at McCann Delhi, the agency has transformed and I am exciting to be working with Prasoon (Joshi) to drive McCann’s digital creative vision.”
In a second appointment Ranjeev Vij is joining McCann Delhi as general manager. Previously board director at Iris Worldwide, Vij brings over 18 year’s brand and agency management experience to the role. During his career, he has handled brands including Airtel, General Motors, Aviva Life Insurance, DHL, J&J, P&G, Pepsico, VISA, HP, and Sony.

Ranjeev and Abhishek will further strengthen McCann’s offering by ensuring that digital storytelling is woven into the creation and execution of all brand ideas.”
The appointments continue McCann’s strategic investment in senior agency management, following Alok Lall joining the agency as executive director McCann Worldgroup Delhi in March last year.
