LB Vietnam strengthens digital innovation team

LB Digital Innovation Team.jpgLeo Burnett Vietnam has announced the appointment of Guilherme Tonon, digital producer and Julian Brzoska, to the agency. Both Tonon and Brzoska will be a part of a new digital innovation team of the agency that will also include social media strategist, Hanh Tran. The new team, led by Kate Bayona-Garcia, currently a business lead with Leo Burnett, has been tasked to drive digital innovation for the agency and to strengthen its overall integrated offering in Vietnam.

Neil Hudspeth, chief digital officer, Leo Burnett Asia Pacific, who was in Ho Chi Minh City to deliver a two-day all-agency digital training and to meet with the new team said, “Our commitment to growth and that of our clients in this most exciting of markets is a priority, and digital is and will increasingly continue to be a key driver to help achieve this. I am thrilled that we are catalyzing our digital capabilities around new talent. Regionally, we will continue to support our rapid development in Vietnam, where consumers are embracing mobile and social with passion and creativity. The challenge is to monetize these and other digital channels for our clients and encourage authentic participation.”

KATE BAYONA-GARCIA / Head of Digital and Innovations

With over nine years of experience in integrated campaign planning and consumer engagement through non-traditional media, Kate will lead the team in ensuring that understanding consumer behavior is central to all digital and innovative solutions for brands. Working in Vietnam for the past six years, Kate has worked with various FMCG, automobile, financial services, spirits and tobacco brands and has piloted some of the most successful digital-led campaigns in Vietnam through viral and social media platforms. One of which includes the recent silver winner at APPIES, a regional effectiveness-based awards show, for Tiger Beer Blue Christmas initiative.

GUILHERME TONON / Digital Producer

With over six years of experience in digital marketing in Brazil, Tonon specializes in innovative solutions that help support the full integration of digital media. Before joining Leo Burnett Vietnam as a digital marketing specialist, Tonon worked closely with clients in various industries, being part of global teams in IBM and Terra Networks which is a leading digital media company reaching 100 million people in Latin America.

JULIAN BRZOSKA / Content Manager

With valuable experience in film content creation and innovative outdoor in Poland, Brzoska seeks to bring fresh and engaging content to Vietnamese consumers. His recently-produced viral movies for IKEA, Mercedes and TVN were awarded during independent competitions and festivals in Poland. Before joining Leo Burnett, he worked with Youngers PL, OOH/Ambient agency that specializes in installing innovative ambient technologies for brands like NIKE, Coca-Cola and Orange.

HANH TRAN / Social Media Stategist

Before joining the digital innovations team, Hanh spent three years in account management of Leo Burnett for a diverse range of brands. Acquiring deep knowledge about Vietnamese people, Hanh is able to offer unique insights for companies seeking to build strong presence in the digital world through building communities, engaging people, driving interactions, listening, acting and generating leads using the social networks.
