Dentsu Network Asia has announced the completion of the acquisition of Bangkok based brand consulting agency Brandscape Company Limited by its subsidiary Dentsu Plus in Thailand. Founder of Brandscape, well known brand architect Dolchai Boonyaratavej, will head Dentsu Plus as Chairman while Takemi Furuta, the current Managing Director of Dentsu Plus, has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

“The ability to transform an idea into a brand promise rests in the hands of the people who understand the vision and can make it into reality. In a short period, Brandscape has many outstanding examples of work for its clients, with great creative talent within the agency. We are delighted to welcome Dolchai and the Brandscape team to the Dentsu family”, said Dick van Motman, (pictured) Chairman and CEO, Dentsu Network/Asia.
“Dentsu is committed to constant innovation and with Brandscape’s capabilities, we can bolster our services to create powerful campaigns that resonate with our clients and their customers.” Boonyaratavej added, “I’m excited at the synergies that will be created through this partnership. In joining hands with Dentsu, we will be able to reach greater heights in becoming Thailand’s top branding agency.”
“In the last nine years, Brandscape has built a solid reputation in the local market and a great list of clients under the guidance of an industry icon like Dolchai,” said Furuta. “This deal marks the beginning of a new phase for Dentsu Plus and brings us a step closer to our aim of becoming a fully integrated communication design agency that adds true value to our clients’ business.”
