SapientNitro appoints Robert Kleman to executive creative director role at the Miami office

robertkleman.jpgRobert Kleman has joined SapientNitro as the new executive creative director for the Miami office, effective immediately.

This is one of the first big creative hires for SapientNitro’s Gary Koepke in his new role as chief creative officer, North America. Kleman (left) will report directly to Koepke who took up the CCO role in July this year.

 

With extensive international experience and a notable reputation as a brand storyteller, Kleman will bring his extensive experience and unsurpassed creativity to help integrate brand communications, digital engagement and omni-channel across several markets in The Americas.

Kleman started his career in in Melbourne, Australia and joined TBWA/Singapore in 1999. During his 6-year tenure, he rose to become a creative partner in the agency heading up the Sony, BMW and MINI accounts.  In 2005, Campaign Brief Asia Magazine ranked Kleman the “Number 1 Most Creative in Asia,” which led to TBWA to become recognized as “Agency of the Year” in 2004 and 2005. 

After his tenure in Asia-Pacific, Kleman relocated to TBWA/Chiat/Day New York as an associate creative director in 2005. There, his work helped propel the agency to become the most awarded advertising agency in the world according to The Gunn Report and Creativity Magazine in  2007. Kleman also spent a year at Euro RSCG New York as executive creative director and then joined BBH New York as creative director in 2008. Prior to joining SapientNitro, Kleman served as creative director for CP+B Miami and has worked with clients such as Google, Honda, British Airways, Under Armour and Jose Cuervo.

 

Kleman is the latest addition to the growing number of renowned creative leaders who have recently joined SapientNitro in North America, part of the agency’s ongoing investment in attracting top caliber creative talent to enrich its portfolio.
