Yean Cheong joins Mediabrands Audience Platform as vice president market solutions APAC

Yean Cheong Head shot Feb 14.jpgThe Mediabrands Audience Platform (MAP) has appointed Yean Cheong as Vice President, Market Solutions in Asia Pacific.

As IPG Mediabrands’ digital arm, MAP integrates diversified digital disciplines including programmatic media, search, social and mobile services, with the objective of delivering business results for clients more efficiently and effectively. MAP includes Reprise Media, a search marketing agency and Cadreon, an audience management platform that helps to find, understand and buy specific audiences via exchanges or demand side platforms.

No stranger to digital media, Cheong makes the move from her role as IPG Mediabrands’ Digital Head for APAC, where she has been overseeing the strategy and development of all digital media activities since 2011.

As VP, Market Solutions APAC, Cheong is the region’s senior level representative and point of contact for all MAP partners. She will oversee all MAP offerings in the region across Digital Display, Search, Mobile and Social Media. Cheong will supervise MAP’s high service standards and ensure MAP solutions are addressed to meet clients’ needs. In addition, Cheong will work closely with Mediabrands’ Global Market Managers and teams, facilitating growth and new business strategy development in the ever-evolving APAC market.

Commenting on her new role, Cheong said, “Moving to MAP as a market lead is a logical progression for me. It enables me to expand upon the support network I’ve been helping build over the last couple of years, to better service our clients and markets by propelling uptake of ad technologies and best practices for digital media in this region.”
