2014 HK4As Effie Awards announces 25 finalists

Effie judges vote the medal for finalists.jpgTen judges have deliberated all of this year’s 93 submissions and the HK4As and have announced the shortlist of 25 finalists for the 2014 Effie Awards.

 

The Effie Awards are to honor the advertising and marketing communications’ most effective works. It demands campaigns to demonstrate insightful strategy, outstanding creative and deliver effective results for clients.

After an intense judging on yesterday by a jury of renowned marketing professionals, the process whittled down 25 entries from 21 agencies to compete for the awards across 29 categories. The finalists yielded 4 Golds, 3 Silvers and 5 Bronzes, and a Grand Winner was also produced. DDB Group Hong Kong, Havas Worldwide Hong Kong, Leo Burnett Limited, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising Hong Kong and OMD Hong Kong are the top 5 agencies with the highest number of finalists.

 

Jurors Paul Groves, Group Chief Marketing Officer of AIA Group said, “The jury were delighted to see that the body of work submitted was of top quality. The most impressive cases showed the benefit of translating real customer insight into relevant and engaging creative ideas cases with tangible business results. The finalists have demonstrated international prowess and are to be congratulated on their ever increasing standards of work and creativity.”

 

The 2014 winners of the Effie Hong Kong will be announced at a Gala Presentation on 6 June at the Hong Kong Shangri-La. The winners list will be published on the HK4As’ official website after the Gala Presentation.
