Kelly Khoo New.jpgClear Channel Singapore has won an exclusive 5-year contract to manage the bus-wrap advertising operations of Singapore’s third local bus operator, Tower Transit Singapore starting from May 2016.

Singapore’s much-coveted first public bus contract was awarded to the London-based Tower Transit in May 2015. The contract will see it operate 26 bus services in the Western part of the island starting mid-2016. The company recently held a carnival for the public at its new Bulim Bus Depot where it revealed its Bus Captain’s uniform, chosen through an online poll.

“Since we were awarded the Bulim bus contract, we’ve invigorated the bus industry by introducing new ways of doing things. We believe this partnership with Clear Channel will have that same forward momentum that will help to push the boundaries of Out-of-Home advertising,” said Andrew Bujtor, Managing Director, Tower Transit Singapore.

This advertising contract win represents a significant milestone for Clear Channel Singapore. The win follows on from the recent announcement of Clear Channel’s seven-fold expansion of its digital 6-sheet inventory – Clear Channel Play 2.0 which encompasses 200 state-of-the-art digital panels on the streets of Singapore.

“The partnership with Tower Transit Singapore further strengthens our position as a true Out-of-Home company. The fleet of Tower Transit buses enhances the scale of our OOH inventory (of 5,000 static OOH and 200 digital OOH displays, mobile-enabled bus shelters and Orchard Road billboard).

A large, diverse inventory like ours offers real advantage to advertisers. We are able to draw upon our insights into audience, environment and proximity response, deliver highly-targeted OOH campaigns, and create new ways to connect with consumers on-the-move,” said Kelly Khoo, Chief Executive Officer, Clear Channel Singapore (pictured above).
