Mark Bowling appointed as new head of strategy and communications planning at PHD China

Mark Bowling 2015.jpgPHD China has named Mark Bowling as Head of Strategy and Communications Planning. In this role, Bowling will use his skills as one of the industry’s most respected senior communication and planning strategists to lead PHD’s team in delivering smart solutions for clients.

Over the course of his 20 years of experience, Bowling (pictured) has worked with some of the world’s most pre-eminent brands across multiple markets. He began his career at Ogilvy & Mather in London before becoming one of the UK’s first integrated communications planners at Lintas, serving the likes of Unilever and Nestle and leading them to Cannes success through award wins. Since 2004, Bowling has worked across Asia Pacific in regional roles for Starcom MediaVest Group, Digitas, and IPG Mediabrands, excluding two years spent in New York where he worked with SMG to manage Samsung’s global media and digital strategy. Most recently Bowling served as Asia lead at marketing management and pitch consultancy TrinityP3.
