Mumbai-based digital marketing communications agency LIQVD ASIA has appointed Dharmesh Shah as its National Creative Director. Shah’s last stint was with FCB Ulka, where he spent close to 14 years with the agency.
After joining FCB Ulka Mumbai in 2002 Shah (pictured) was later promoted to Creative Group Head in 2006. In 2011, he moved to FCB Ulka Bangalore as Senior Creative Director and took on the creative responsibilities of the Bengaluru branch.
Commenting on the appointment, Arnab Mitra, Managing Director, LIQVD ASIA said: “I am delighted to welcome Dharmesh on board. Dharmesh has an exceptional and widespread understanding of the creative process and has a genuine yearning to take on larger responsibilities and challenges. He is just the kind of talent that will take LIQVD ASIA’s creative product to the next level. ”
Shah commented: “I am ecstatic to join LIQVD ASIA and be part of a team that is so passionate about everything digital. I am looking forward to creating some stimulating work for our clients. The move from traditional to digital has been a natural one for me and now brands too are prioritizing their ad spends and realize the immense potential and value digital communications adds to their marketing plans. It is a shift from creating content that is centered around the product/brand to creating good content that has the band in the backdrop.”
During his 15 year long career, he has worked for several brands like ITC foods (all brands under Sunfeast) and their confectionery business, the entire portfolio of brands under Wipro Consumer Goods, Paragon, Levis, Amul, Tata Indicom, Tata Motors, Tata Consultancy Services, Zee, Tata Chemicals, Nerolac Paints, LIC and ICICI Bank among others.
