Carousell Launches First-Ever Brand Campaign In Collaboration With 72andSunny Singapore
Following a competitive pitch earlier this year, Carousell and 72andSunny Singapore have launched a new brand platform, ‘Everyone Wins’ – the first-ever brand campaign for Carousell since it was founded in 2012.
Carousell partnered with 72andSunny Singapore to develop a regional campaign that features Carousell’s aspirational, purpose-led approach that connects sellers and buyers to unleash new possibilities with each transaction, so ‘Everyone Wins’.
“We’ve always believed that each of our 70 million transactions goes beyond dollars and cents. Our mission is to inspire every person in the world to start selling, so as to create opportunities for anyone to unlock possibilities with their unused items. Our new tagline, ‘Everyone Wins’, speaks to what Carousell is all about, and what makes us unique. In today’s world of a shared democratised economy, we hope to inspire a different way for people to sell and buy with one another.” said Siu Rui Quek, Co-founder and CEO of Carousell.
This brand campaign comes after a major refresh of its visual identity in August that signifies the brand’s progression and growth, while putting a spotlight on its core purpose of enabling shared possibilities amongst users of the online marketplace. Over the years, Carousell has harnessed mutually beneficial opportunities to empower users, and celebrated numerous success stories of users who turned their passions into livelihoods.
“Inspired by user stories from our platform, our brand campaign showcases more than just celebrating successful transactions – it begins with individuals starting out with their own goals and finding a way to use Carousell to make it work for their circumstances. As the only mobile classifieds platform that enables peer-to-peer communications, we’ve created a series of communications that show the possibilities that Carousell can unlock for our users.” said Cassandra Leong, Brand Lead, Carousell.
“At 72andSunny Singapore, we’re passionate about growing the next generation of Asian giants. Carousell is a modern progressive brand, and we’re proud of this work born out of a truly collaborative partnership.” said Daniel Ko, Creative Director, 72andSunny Singapore.
The campaign is also set to roll out in other markets including Hong Kong and Malaysia in the coming months.

Carousell waited 7 years for these predictable boring ads? Might want to improve before “rolling” out to other markets.
I like this. Gives a fairly anonymous regional brand a voice and human personality in amongst the clutter.
When selling or buying on Carousell doesn’t make grammatical or logical sense. Like the campaign however
I can see what the simple version of this was before the client made the agency tick every box in the script. Still, 72 should’ve said no. This is trying to catch too many balls and catching zero
For a brand like 72, they should had been more gutsy. Depending who is at the helm I guess, real 72 would had done better.
