Kiehl’s Philippines celebrates a fresh start in latest spot created via Propel Manila
Kiehl’s Philippines asks people everywhere to bounce back together in latest film via Propel Manila for the product launch of their Vital Skin Strengthening Super Serum.
The idea behind the campaign is “A Fresh Start”, that welcomes us all as we slowly make our way back to living in the new world. It’s about starting over, starting fresh, finding a new strength, a revitalised spirit, and trying again. Created by Propel Manila and produced by Makina Productions, the film features different women from all walks of life, positively starting a new day, getting ready as they head out into a new world.
“It’s about a fresh start, about facing the new world, armed with strength, courage, and a fresh perspective,” says Nico Leviste, Creative Director at Propel Manila. “The way the film was produced also epitomizes the message of what we we’re trying to convey. It’s a fresh new way of creating, with the new ways of working and its restrictions, and I think we were able to deliver a powerful spot.”
“The material really hits the spot in the way we want to launch Kiehl’s Vital Skin-Strengthening Super Serum, seamlessly integrating its benefits with a strong message from the brand,” says Lerizze Tan, Kiehl’s Product Manager. “It’s a message we need to hear and a message that’s also best-suited for the brand.”
The spot was directed by Christian Acuna in collaboration with Borgy Torre and Carlo Ledesma. The entire spot was shot by different directors within the confines of their own homes, limited to the equipment and talents available to them.
