Ogilvy India celebrates David Ogilvy’s 109th birthday

Ogilvy India is celebrating its legendary founder’s 109th birthday in a novel and a pragmatic way.
Simply put, it’s this: what if David Ogilvy comes to life and shares his experiences about the tough times that he faced in his life. 2 world wars and the great depression and the lessons that he learnt from them. More importantly, David draws a parallel to the tough times that he faced and the one that we are currently facing. Written like a fireside chat, the poster/mailer reflects the wisdom of a life well-lived and how this generation can benefit from it.

Please don’t glorify this nonsense by giving it an award….that is the only reason
it has been created.
Passing off some inferior award chaser’s voice as David Ogilvy’s….what a crass move!
But isn’t Ogilvy a Goliath as the biggest in WPP?
Didn’t this agency just get a new worldwide CEO from Deloitte?
Hopefully now all this self worshipping nonsense will stop!
Time to focus on making things better boys and girls….playtime is over.
If the new CEO replaces Piyush especially with a non POC surely there will be an uproar.
