Lion & Lion announces Ham Maghazeh as new Head of Social

Lion & Lion Digital Group has hired Ham Maghazeh as Head of Social Media to fuel future social innovation for business growth across the company’s key markets and offices.

 

In this new role, Maghazeh will be responsible for propelling the company’s value to deliver a genuine impact for businesses in Southeast Asia by enabling creative solutions for experiential and integrated campaigns. He will be directly reporting to Cheelip Ong, Regional Chief Creative Officer of Lion & Lion.

Ong says: “As we evolve our creative solutions with the arrival of each new social media channel, it is pivotal that we help brands discover the most optimal ways to engage in the social media space. Ham’s rich expertise in digital and social content engagement will help our brands deliver even more impact with their content.”.

A digital native multi-discipline professional, Maghazeh brings 15 years of digital and social media communications experience working with agencies such as BBDO, Publicis, Leo Burnett and isobar. His understanding of technology and passion for storytelling has been instrumental in helping brands to best use social media channels to maximise impact, engagement, and achieve business results. His consumer-centric approach has created winning social media success stories for brands like Mondelez, Pepsico, Diageo Unilever, Samsung, RHB just to name a few. One of his proudest contributions to the Social Media Hall of Fame is for Mudah.my which bagged the Malaysian Golden Kancil award in 2017, gold in APAC Effie Award and Spikes Asia Creative Awards.
