Netflix launches Not Alive Concert for Netflix ‘Trese’ animated series via GIGIL Philippines
GIGIL Philippines releases launch campaign for ‘Trese’, the first-ever Filipino comic adapted by Netflix into an animated series on their global platform.
It is a horror/crime series based on Philippine folklore and supernaturals, so its launch this June 2021 was a cause for celebration for the whole country.
Due to the Philippines still being in lockdown, there was no way to get a live audience together for their countdown concert, because social gatherings are still not allowed. To solve this problem Netflix allowed people to be a part of a supernatural concert through virtual means. Partnering with UDD, acclaimed local band who wrote the Netflix Trese series’ OST, to create the first-ever concert with ghosts as the audience. This is made possible by using footage of people submitted through our website www.tresenotaliveconcert.com. We turned them into projections of spirits that will appear during the band’s performance, 13 (trese) minutes before its official release on Netflix.
