Australia, India and Japan lead at the shortlist stage of Spikes Asia
Spikes Asia, now on its 35th edition, has released shortlists across all 24 categories. From an initial 3,037 entries from 25 countries, 625 pieces of work have made it onto the shortlists and will now compete to be awarded.
New to Spikes Asia this year are three awards developed in response to the region’s shifting creative trends; the Creative Data Spike, the Social & Influencer Spike and the incorporation of the Tangram Awards to form the new Strategy & Effectiveness Spike. The Tangram Awards have been incorporated into the Spikes Asia Awards to recognise the vital link between creativity and marketing effectiveness.
106 jurors from locations across APAC and from a wide range of creative industry disciplines and backgrounds have convened remotely to judge entries using the unique LIONS judging platform.
Winners will be announced via the Spikes Asia Winner’s Site, with the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners released on 2 March, the Grand Prix and Special Award winners announced on 3 March and Spikes Unwrapped and the Spikes Creativity Report released on 24 March.
Jenny Lau, Events Director, Spikes Asia, said: “This year, for the 35th edition of the Spikes Asia Awards, we are very excited by the addition of three new awards developed in response to APAC’s shifting creative trends. We’re extremely grateful to our jurors for all of their hard work and delighted to announce the shortlists ahead of the winners announcement which will set the benchmark for both creative excellence and marketing strategy and effectiveness in Asia-Pacific.”
