AWARD School welcomes class of 2022

Almost 200 aspiring creatives from across Australia have been accepted into AWARD School 2022, including more regional students than ever before.

 

More applicants from New Zealand, the Northern Territory, the Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania made the cut this year due to a high level of creative thinking across the board, primarily attracted by AWARD School’s innovative online program.

Says Cam Blackley, AWARD chair: “COVID has forced a digital transformation that has retained everything that is great about AWARD School, which is now enhanced by convenient virtual lectures, webinars that allow students to ask anything of industry leaders, an online portfolio and judging platform, Legendary Lessons where internationally renowned creative leaders can drop into a virtual tutorial, content hubs, and a private community Facebook platform that allows students, tutors and lecturers to freely communicate with each other at any time.

“It has allowed us to extend a gold-standard creative program into every town and community across the country, supported by a team of industry-leading lecturers and tutors who support and nurture our online students throughout the year.

“Both our online and traditional course students will go on to land themselves plumb jobs within advertising and other creative industries, which speaks volumes about the quality and effectiveness of the AWARD School program.”

AWARD School 2022 will kick off on 28 March and run for 12 weeks. Graduation ceremonies will take place around the country in August with 2022’s top student announced on 18 August as part of This Way Up: Australia’s Advertising Festival of Creativity.
