DBS says “Pay with The Future of Shopping” through rap music and dance sensations
DBS Flexi Shopping solution owns the foresight to become one of the first banks to offer Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) credit card solution to help Hong Kong’s cardholders combine and split their purchases at any merchants into 3 – 60 months instalments with just two steps. Recently, BNPL is exceptionally popular among youngsters who do not want to miss any shopping opportunities due to cash flows. In response, DBS has decided to revamp Flexi Shopping’s customer experience by launching a seamless application process under their new Card+ app, and to better resonate with the younger gens it is introduced through a trendy ad campaign connecting dance, rap, and metaverse under the platform “Live More, Bank Less”.
DBS has invited ANSONBEAN, one of Hong Kong’s most energetic young idols to show off his dance moves and rap about all the benefits of Flexi Shopping, performed in front of a digitalised backdrop mimicking the metaverse era we have already entered. What’s more, DBS, as the market’s pioneer, shared its anticipation for the future by raffling out a virtual The Sandbox LAND to one lucky Flexi shopper.
