DDB Group Singapore promotes Neel Chhaya to Managing Partner role

DDB Group Singapore has elevated Neel Chhaya as Managing Partner. Joining the leadership team, Chhaya is poised to spearhead the agency’s ambitious growth agenda. He will be supporting Jeff Cheong, who stepped up as CEO of DDB Group Singapore in January.

Over the past six years, Chhaya has steered key business partnerships at the Singapore office, including Exxon, MAS, GIC, National Environment Agency, Samsonite, and Unilever. A passionate brand architect with a 15-year track record in business management globally, Chhaya has worked with some of the most admired brands in the world, including Credit Suisse, Standard Chartered, Chevrolet, Nissan, Coca-Cola, Kimberly Clark and Intel. Before joining DDB, Chhaya spent time at McCann Worldgroup, The Bonsey Design Partnership, and OgilvyOneWorldwide.

“Neel is a homegrown talent with exceptional business acumen,” said Cheong. “Following several new business wins, it’s easy to see his undeniable impact at the agency. Together with Group Managing Director Joshua Lee and Group Chief Operating Officer Leslie Goh, I expect to see our growth agenda strengthen with more unexpected work.”

In his capacity as Managing Partner, and as a key driver of agency’s growth agenda, Chhaya will also focus on expanding collaboration and synchronising efforts with offices from across the network on global accounts.

Chhaya said: “I look forward to harnessing our talent, entrepreneurial spirit, tech expertise, and track record as one of the top agencies in Singapore to deliver world-class creative work for our thriving roster of clients.”
