Publicis Groupe China elevates Vivian Zhu, Christina Lu and Andy Ho
Publicis Groupe China has announced three leadership appointments.
To further accelerate the growth of Publicis Groupe in China, Vivian Zhu (pictured middle), currently Chief Executive Officer of Zenith and Spark Foundry China, is promoted to Chief Operating Officer, Publicis Media China, with immediate effect. In this newly created crucial role, Zhu will lead Publicis Omni-Performance, as well as closely collaborate with EDGE, to seamlessly integrate data and omni channel solutions, and strengthen the Groupe’s strategic media partnerships. Zhu will also oversee new business growth across Publicis Media’s three agency brands – Zenith, Starcom and Spark Foundry.
Zhu will report to Jane Lin-Baden, CEO of Publicis Groupe APAC, while the media agency CEOs will be accountable to Zhu on new business and capability adoption.
Christina Lu (pictured right), currently Chief Client Officer of Zenith and Spark Foundry China, has been promoted to CEO of Zenith China. She is tasked to further strengthen Zenith as a full-funnel media agency partner to clients with seamless connection to creative capabilities.
Publicis Groupe has elevated its creative leadership in Shanghai with a focus on driving stronger planning and creative synergy across agencies, integrating data, media, and technology with creativity, and cultivating the next generation of creative talents with cross-business capabilities.
Andy Ho (pictured left), Chief Growth Officer of Publicis Groupe China, expands his remit to manage creative services in Shanghai. He will connect creative services with media and content, and further enhance data-led content production capabilities across practices.
Ho will report to Arto Hampartsoumian, Managing Partner & Executive Chairman of Publicis Groupe China, for the Shanghai creative services. Shanghai based creative agencies and business team, including BBH, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Publicis Worldwide, Digitas and Publicis Entertainment, as well as select “Power of One” account teams, such as P&G team and Genesis team, will report to Ho.
