Ogilvy Asia Pacific’s CCO Reed Collins named on inaugural LIA Creativity In B2B jury

London International Awards has announced a new competition for 2023, Creativity In Business-to-Business. Ogilvy Asia Pacific’s Chief Creative Officer Reed Collins will represent Asia on the inaugural jury, which is headed up by jury president Eka Ruola, chief creative officer of Nitro Group, Helsinki.

Ruola (picured below) is one of the most awarded Finnish creative directors – both nationally and internationally.

Ruola said: “In the long history of sales and marketing, not a single company has ever bought anything from another company. The decision has always been made by people. That is why creativity has rushed into the world of Business-to-Business communications. It’s a sheer honor to Chair this category at the prestigious London International Awards.” He went on to say, “The times are long gone when B2B stood for Boring-to-Boring. Emotional storytelling and the smartest of marketing techniques have rushed into the world of Business-to-Business communications. This category at LIA will be an exciting experience for both the jury and the whole industry.”

Creativity In Business-to-Business will recognize outstanding creativity in the advertising and promotions of products and services that are purchased by businesses for use in their operations. These awards will honor world-class creative work in the business-to-business sector.

Terry Savage, Chairperson of LIA, said: “When introducing any new category into LIA, we are extremely conscious and aware of the relevance of that category, with B2B there was never any doubt. It is not only relevant, but long overdue. We look forward to welcoming Eka, the entire jury and equally look forward to publishing the results as the judging happens live in Las Vegas.”
