Chai Indonesia and Seven Sunday Films create new film for Jeep Indonesia
Jeep Indonesia, Chai Indonesia and Seven Sunday Films have come together to create a stunning new film titled ‘Jeep | Legacy’.
The film is a gorgeous tapestry of scintillating cinematography shot across Bromo, Bali and Sumba, showcasing the grandeur of Indonesia, and is interwoven with glimpses of deeply personal moments in the lives of the two protagonists.
Directed by RLV @ The Braintrust from Seven Sunday Films, shot by Pascal Remond and edited by Dave Singh, the storytelling captures not just the amazing performance of the Jeep vehicles across unforgiving terrain, but also the raw force of emotions between a father and his son.
Dhani Yahya, COO of Das Indonesia (Sole Distributor of Jeep Indonesia), said: “Jeep has a rich legacy. It is a brand that spans generations, and inspires people of all ages and backgrounds. We are proud to dedicate this film to our legions of fans here in Indonesia.”
Rajesh Menon, Founder/ECD of Chai Indonesia, said: “Jeep is an iconic brand – one of those rare brands that throws all demographic and psychographic profiles out the window… everybody desires one! How better to showcase this than to tell an emotional story, that brings alive what the Jeep legacy really means?”
RLV added: “From the get go, we all knew that this would be an exciting but challenging project; considering the budget, timeline, and the intended take away. All parties were involved from the very start of ideation stage, and once Rajesh and myself carved out a direction, we were allowed to go and tell a beautiful story, coupled with a powerful and in-depth script from the agency. This freedom and trust I believe, allowed us to go beyond”.
The tone and colours of the film is brilliantly brought to life by Parker Javie of Company 3 who was involved in the post-production team for John Wick: Chapter 4.

Nice photography for a tourism ad however with lots of standard off-road shots & wall to wall VO (not well delivered) this is one chaotic spot; but bro we got to drive a Rubicon. And I’m sure the agency team has lots of photos of themselves with the product.
Then I’m thinking of “You never really own a Patek Philippe”.
