The Voodoo Hack Sound creates new soundtracks for Oatside’s latest digital and TV campaign

The Voodoo Hack Sound recently teamed up with Spunk Pictures Bangkok and Media Monks Singapore to create three kooky soundtracks for the Oatside’s 200ml Pocket Pack Launch campaign.

“Obsession to Indulgence” was the brief from director David Rechtman for the 3 Oatside brand films Bank Heist, Lightbulb and Sofa.

Each spot focusses on the protagonist engaging in an important activity with other people but simultaneously obsessed with getting themselves a 200ml pocket pack of Oatside, regardless of the consequences. Once they reach their goal of acquiring a pack of Oatside they are transported to a world of indulgence, blissfully unaware of the chaos unfolding around them.

The music and sound design beautifully enhances these stories of obsession and pure indulgence.

Composer/Sound Designer: Ben Rosen, said: “It’s been fab working on these super fun spots with Davis Koh and David Rechtman from Spunk Pictures and the sound and pictures came together effortlessly to tell these stories.”

Spunk Pictures CEO Davis Koh, says: “The Voodoo Hack Sound took my vision and beautifully complimented the narrative and emotion of the spots using music and sound design. Every element added an extra layer of engagement and brought the Oatside experience to life. We’re definitely looking forward to the next opportunity to work with these guys!”

Director David Rechtman says: “Having The Voodoo Hack Sound on board was was a perfect addition to the production team on these Oatside spots, they nailed the ‘Obsession to Indulgence’ brief to a tee.”
