The Voodoo Hack Sound and Bonsta Sound have collaborated on a version of Banjo Paterson’s Waltzing Matilda, the unofficial national anthem of Australia for Standards Australia.

Using legendary vocalist Michelle Martine and Dora Marie’s killer string ensemble The Vixen Strings, the two music companies created a beautiful and powerful rendition of the classic song.

Ben Rosen, Founder of The Voodoo Hack Sound, says: ‘It was wonderful working with such great live musicians on this project. These days the opportunity to work with live players is becoming more rare so having a client that understands the value of real musicians really pushed this project to the next level. Michelle Martine is one of my favourite singers to work with as she nails every brief in any genre. Dora and The Vixen Strings were also a joy to work with bringing their awesomeness in large amounts.’

Jess Bonney, Founder of Bonsta Sound, said: “Being in studio with Ben and working with live strings is always so powerful, but hearing our arrangement of such an iconic Aussie song being played live, was truly magical. Thanks to Standards Australia and Brightworks Productions for choosing us to co-craft this musical journey.”
