Emma Daines at ADFEST 2024: “I see AI as a tool for us to help VFX thrive. We’re already doing that”

Emma Daines is jury president of Film Craft Lotus and New Director Lotus. The CEO, & Executive Producer of Fin Design & Effects, Sydney, founded the studio in Sydney, Australia, with seven people 22 years ago. It is now a group of studios in Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore and Shanghai, with 180 people.

 

Fin Design + Effects has made a name for itself as the studio for ambitiously creative visuals, and won a prodigious number of awards at AEAF, AACTA, CLIO, Cannes Lion, Spike, Ciclope, New York Festivals, ADFEST, Axis, AICP, AWARD, and Gerety.
