Anuwat Nitipanont departs VML for Chief Creative Officer role at FCB Bangkok and MullenLowe Bangkok, under YDM Thailand group

YDM Thailand Group of Companies has appointed Anuwat Nitipanont as Chief Creative Officer, overseeing creative duties for FCB Bangkok and MullenLowe Bangkok.

 

The move will ensure strategic alignment and seamless integration of services across all companies in the Group.

Renowned for driving innovative solutions that create impact for business and society, Nitipanont brings over 20 years of creative leadership to the role, where he will work across the creative department, social content, influencer marketing, and creative production. His work is known for its simplicity and effectiveness, aiming to create a positive impact on people, brands, and society.

Nitipanont joined YDM Thailand this month, July 2024, from VML, where he served as Chief Creative Officer for Thailand. During his successful tenure, Nitipanont played a pivotal role in significantly expanding the client portfolio across various industries within a year, achieving a record-breaking winning ratio for the company. He also doubled the size of the creative department, leading the agency to be ranked #9 in Asia and #4 in Thailand by Campaign Brief Asia’s The Work 2023 rankings. Prior to VML, Nitipanont served as Chief Creative Officer at BBDO Bangkok, where he led the agency to multiple Agency of the Year accolades.

Throughout his distinguished career, Nitipanont has received over 300 awards from both international & local advertising shows, including Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio, LIA, Spikes Asia, MAD STARS, ADFEST and ETC. He has also served as a jury member for leading industry shows including MAD STARS, CICLOPE, and the AdForum PHNX Awards, and chaired the jury for the Adman Awards in 2019 and 2022. Having led the committee for Thailand’s Young Lions competition for the past 8 years, Nitipanont continues to foster and inspire local talent through program which seeks to discover and nurture the best young Thai talent for the annual competition in Cannes.

FCB Bangkok and MullenLowe Bangkok have been a part of the YDM Thailand network since 2019 and 2020 respectively. Working as part of the same network enables the creative agencies to extend a full set of services from Digital and Data to Client Management to customers.
