ROCK YU Creative Set to Host The One Club Portfolio Night in Taipei on October 24th, 2024
The One Club for Creativity announces ROCK YU Creative as the city host for Portfolio Night in Taipei.
After 14 years, Portfolio Night is making its grand return to Taipei as a live, in-person event this year. This year’s event will be hosted by ROCK YU Creative, a new creative independent agency co-founded by Richard Yu, who also serves as an international board director member for The One Club for Creativity. To celebrate this significant industry event, ROCK YU has created a theme film titled Birthday Celebration, which cleverly uses an over-the-top party filled with excessive gimmicks that ultimately backfires, serving as a metaphor for how gathering too many ideas at once is not always a good idea. End with the message to the young creatives: that the kind of practical guidance they will receive from top industry creative directors to sharpen their portfolios for future success.
This year, 25 of Taiwan’s top creative minds, across advertising, design, and digital fields, will review 50 young talents, providing invaluable feedback and direction.

Portfolio Night 2024 also features the Portfolio Night All-Stars, a week-long virtual competition program where one outstanding young creative from each city is selected to compete on a global stage. These All-Stars will collaborate in teams to work on a brief from a global sponsor, enjoy candid talks with industry titans, portfolio reviews with reviewers from all over the world, and more. The week concludes with team presentations, and the winning team will receive an invitation to New York for Creative Week and networking hosted by The One Club for Creativity.
