Heckler Singapore elevates Xinhui Zheng to Head of Production

Heckler Singapore has promoted senior VFX producer Xinhui Zheng to head of production, effective immediately.

With over a decade’s experience in production, Zheng (pictured left) joined Heckler Singapore as one of the company’s first employees back in 2019. After spearheading a complex mixed media spot for an iconic, global skincare brand – involving 2D cel animation, 3D packs, 3D face mapping a virtual influencer, extensive beauty retouching, compositing and online for over 300 regional outputs over a tight timeline, Zheng cemented her place as a trusted partner for agencies and brands on complex VFX projects.

Adept at building robust production pipelines, along with planning resources and leading teams on large scale projects, Zheng’s meticulous attention to detail and composure has led to a stellar career working on award winning campaigns for the region’s top agencies and brands. This year alone Zheng has produced campaigns for the likes Forsman & Bodenfors Singapore, BBH Singapore, Digitas, Prodigious, Media Arts Lab, Ogilvy WW, and Studio Birthplace to deliver campaigns for Riot Games, Nike, Samsung, Apple, Fanta, Greenpeace (Money Trees), Jeshi (Inside Out) and SK-II.

Heckler Singapore, managing director, Charu Menon (pictured right), said: “Xin’s promotion to head of production is a no-brainer. Our producers really trust and look up to her and she is someone I can always rely on to step up and dig deep when needed. With Heckler Singapore all grown up now (we turned five this year!), I’m grateful to have Xin at the helm overseeing the department. In her new role, Xin will work closely with myself and the artists to manage workflow, plan resources and streamline production.

“She has always fostered great client relationships because she goes above and beyond to deliver top notch, quality work. In some agencies, that has earned her the nickname ‘Amay-Xin!’”

Zheng says: “It’s a massive honour to take on this new role, especially when I think about the calibre of talent we have in Heckler SG. I guess I’m just going to have to put on my big boy pants and try not to mess it up!”
