Dentsu Malaysia and Directors Think Tank have launched the #SPEEDPHORIA campaign to spotlight PETRONAS as the title sponsor of the Malaysia MotoGP. The film is designed to energize motorsports fans worldwide.
Directed by Sling Ng, the campaign celebrates PETRONAS’ role in the sport, highlighting the brand’s commitment to speed, precision, and innovation. The campaign’s visual direction, “Vector in Motion,” blends sleek, retro-inspired design with modern, high-tech elements.
Ng reflected that working with Dentsu MY and PETRONAS has been both fun and challenging. The fast-paced process—from storyboard to final material in just 1.5 months—pushed the team to create something dynamic and visually impactful. The 3D animation by Final Project brought an extra layer of motion and excitement, perfectly complementing the campaign’s themes.
This campaign is not only a celebration of the sport but also a showcase of PETRONAS’ leadership in motorsports technology, demonstrating the brand’s continued innovation and its integral role in the world of MotoGP.
