Ogilvy, GOVT, Le Pub and The P Film the big winners at the Singapore Creative Circle Awards (GONG)

The Associate of Advertising and Marketing Singapore has announced the winners following the Singapore AdMarCom Festival 2025, which recognized a record-breaking 626 winners across four prestigious awards. Ogilvy Singapore was the major winner at The Creative Circle Awards (GONG) winning Design Agency of The Year and overall GONG Agency of The Year.

 

Under the theme ‘Spotlight The Brave’, the two-day festival gathered more than 600 creatives and industry professionals, marking it as Singapore’s most anticipated creative industry event of the year. The festival showcased three signature award shows – Singapore Media Marketing Awards, Creative Circle Awards (GONG) and The Crowbar Awards – alongside the highly anticipated return of the Hall of Fame Awards.

Bernard Chan, CEO at Association of Advertising and Marketing Singapore, said: “The unprecedented scale of participation and quality of creative work submitted this year reflects the tremendous growth of our creative industry. Today’s recognition goes beyond celebrating excellence – it strengthens our creative economy and firmly establishes Singapore as a leading creative hub in Asia.”

The GONG awards demonstrated the industry’s competitive spirit with 555 submissions evaluated by a panel of 80 judges. The ceremony honoured 153 winners. The industry’s finest received special recognition in the form of Big GONGs: GOVT Singapore for Independent Agency of The Year, Le Pub for Digital Agency of The Year, The P Film for Production Company of The Year and Vaseline for Advertiser of The Year. With Ogilvy taking out Agency and Digital AOTY. Ogilvy’s “Rockstar Status” campaign for ARTOTEL Group was also awarded Best of Show.

In addition to eight best of category awards, Ogilvy Singapore were awarded 23 Golds, 18, Silver and 43 Bronze Awards. MullenLowe Singapore picked up 10 Gold, three Silver and seven Bronze. GOVT were awarded six Gold, two Silver, and one Bronze.. Le Pub Singapore scored five Gold, 11 Silver and three Bronze. BLKJ Havas came away with one best of category, 4 Gold, three Silver and one Bronze. BBH also had a great night with three Gold, 11 Silver and 12 Bronze

The Singapore Media Marketing Awards (SMMA) set the bar high with 54 winning campaigns. Industry leaders including VML Singapore, OMD Singapore, GOVT Singapore, ABM Media, Zenith Media, Publicis Chemistry and Hogarth Worldwide showcased their winning work and offered attendees invaluable insight into creating award-winning campaigns. The evening celebrated 16 Bronze, 23 Silver, and 15 Gold awards, with Starcom Singapore emerging as the night’s biggest victor, securing nine awards as well as the prestigious SMMA Agency of The Year title.

Championing tomorrow’s creative leaders, the Crowbar Awards celebrated 169 emerging talents across 43 categories. The competition showcased outstanding student work in Communication, Digital Innovation, Branding and Film & Photography among many others, resulting in 95 Bronze, 53 Silver, and 21 Gold awards. Temasek Polytechnic demonstrated exceptional creative prowess, receiving a total of 68 awards across the categories, which secured their win as Institution of the Year. Derrick Yeo from LASALLE College of the Arts emerged as one of Crowbar’s standout talents, with And Dust You Will Return, winning both Best of Show and Best of Category for Film & Photography.

Making a triumphant return is the Hall of Fame Awards which honoured icons whose contributions have left an enduring mark on Singapore’s creative landscape. The ceremony recognised Tay Guan Hin as an Advertising Visionary, Zachary Lim as Media Mogul (Agency), Dasheng Toh as Media Mogul (Platform) and Alvin Neo as Marketing Mastermind. The evening’s crowning moment came with the acknowledgment of Patrick Low’s Lifetime Achievement, underscoring his transformative impact on the industry. Reflecting on this honour, Patrick shared, “The basic criteria for a lifetime achievement award is to dedicate your entire working life to one industry. Thank God I didn’t quit. This award is not just a celebration of my journey but a testament to the power of perseverance, passion and most of all, partnership.”
