Ogilvy and Cadbury celebrate the beautifully imperfect reality of real love
Love comes in all shapes and forms – it’s gloriously messy, full of compromise, and genuine connection. This Valentine’s Day, Ogilvy Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore partnered with Cadbury in celebrating the beautifully imperfect reality of real love.
In a world where ‘perfect’ relationships are often revered and celebrated online, consumer research with couples has uncovered that it was the differences between them that made their love more special, and that they show love and generosity in unexpected ways when making room for their differences.
Let’s face it – sometimes the best love stories are the ones that don’t fit neatly into a heart-shaped box. To this end, Cadbury is embracing the beautiful messiness of love, celebrating the rollercoaster of emotions, the difference in tastes, the shared vulnerabilities, and the unwavering support through thick and thin.
Our Valentine’s Day campaign film portrays a couple embracing their imperfections and celebrating their unique differences. A limited-edition pack, symbolizing contrasting tastes in everything from music to food, will be released in Indonesia and the Philippines. It represents the idea that love finds harmony in difference.

In collaboration with Bulletproof, Ogilvy developed a split-heart design symbolizes two halves of a whole, crafted to represent a range of individual preferences from music genres to travel destinations. The end result? A powerful visual representation of how two distinct individuals can come together to form a perfect pair.
So, let’s embrace the quirks, the flaws, the perfectly imperfect moments that make your love story…yours.
