Juice and director Eric Will elevate Marjan’s 2025 Ramadan campaign with unreal engine & virtual production
Leading visual effects and post-production studio Juice, has teamed up with BBDO Indonesia and Nayfosindo Production to produce Lasallefood Marjan’s 2025 Ramadan campaign. Directed by Eric Will from Juice’s in-house roster, this key episode in the evolving “Marjan Cinematic Universe” merges real-time virtual production, Unreal Engine, and CGI animation for a fresh, futuristic spin on a cherished holiday tradition.
Marjan’s Ramadan campaigns have won hearts for their cinematic storytelling and emotional resonance, earning them a special place in viewers’ seasonal celebrations. Returning from his work on Marjan’s 2023 campaign, Director Eric Will once again leads the creative vision, infusing a sci-fi aesthetic that still preserves the warmth and nostalgia integral to Ramadan.
“Marjan has built a universe around its brand, turning each campaign into an event,” said Will. “For this episode, we wanted to merge high-concept sci-fi elements, and Unreal Engine allowed us to create expansive, immersive worlds without sacrificing the campaign’s emotional core.”

Juice played a crucial role, integrating Unreal Engine-powered real-time workflows on set.
“On-set virtual production supervision optimized every shot in real time. It enabled smarter creative decisions and a more cohesive final result,” said Will.
Pawel Bialowas Juice’s CG Supervisor highlighted the technological advancements that powered the campaign: “With Unreal Engine’s real-time capabilities, we were able to fine-tune lighting, environments, and CGI elements instantly. This approach ensured integration between live-action and digital assets, enhancing both the realism and efficiency of the production and a polished final product.”
